Great spot for people watching and an outdoor coffee

Café Françoise in Glasgow’s west end

There’s something very Parisian about sitting outside with coffee and watching the world go by. Café Françoise is Glasgow answer to Paris coffee culture.

If you are lucky enough to visit on a dry day, their outdoor tables have a great view of the crossing between Byres Road and University Avenue one of the busiest in the west end.

I treated myself to one of their chocolate and peanut croissants, which was like a snickers bar in pastry form. Woah! I paired this with a black americano which was perfect on a cold December day.

I’ve heard their breakfasts are really tasty so I’m looking forward to my next visit already.

If you enjoyed this then please check out the rest of our blog where we review coffee shops, bakeries and cafes across Scotland. We are on the hunt to find the best Americano across the country…
