Our second Dear Green review is here…

Dear Green Coffee is a Glasgow based coffee roaster that opened its doors in 2011. The name comes from the Gaelic meaning of Glasgow – ‘The Dear Green Place.’.
They focus ‘speciality’ grade coffee beans and their festive blend has a mix of coffee from all over the world. With beans from Rwanda, Mexico and Honduras this makes for an interesting cup.

You wouldn’t believe that instant coffee & festive blend could come from the same plant, the taste is completely opposite. There are no bitter notes with the Festive Blend, instead you are greeted with a sweet salted caramel hit and a warmth that reminds me of golden rum.
This could be a great gift for any caramel macchiato fans out there. I’d rate this around the 15/20 mark, a bit lighter tasting than my usual cup but a tasty change.
