One of my favourite spots in Edinburgh…
Söderberg is a Swedish style bakery with a few locations in Edinburgh and London.
They notoriously have some of the best cinnamon buns in Edinburgh. Well worth a visit just for one of those!
With coffee being a huge part of Scandinavian culture, I was curious to see if their coffee lived up to the reputation of their cinnamon swirls.
I brewed a strong black cup using a v60 and I was met with a creamy and very mellow honey taste on my first sip. The more I drank the more cinnamony flavours I got.
Was this because I was picturing one of their delicious buns while drinking? Maybe! But this is a seriously delicious bag of beans.
I’d rate this around 18/20, a must try for all Edinburgh go-ers.
